Trains Of Ruun

Trains Of Ruun is a pack all about North American style 3ft gauge. The pack is actually set in a fictional nation called Ruun.

Locomotives

2-4-2 "Nattie"

Nattie is a 2-4-2 tank locomotive based on Lyn of the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway. She was built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1898. Nattie differs some from Lyn, most notably in her size. Lyn is 2ft gauge where as Nattie is 3ft gauge.

2-8-0 "Adaylia"

Adaylia is a 2-8-0 based on D&RGW C16 locomotives with heavy inspiration from DL&G 191. 2-8-0s like this have blind middle drivers to allow for tighter turning. Adaylia has a fully detailed cab with functioning controls. Her tender has lanterns and a functional water level as well as a detailed wood load that reflects the current fuel in the tender.

Overton Coaches

Trains of Ruun overtons feature functional seats, detailed interiors, opening windows and doors, and guard chains for between the cars.

The specific overtons are:

30ft Boxcar

30ft boxcars like this were commonly found and used across almost all 3ft gauge railroads in North America. This boxcar comes with many texture variants and opening doors! The pack also includes a variant on the car that has two vagrants playing a game of cards and having a drink or two.

30ft Reefer

30ft reefers used ice blocks stored in compartments in the roof to cool their contents. They carried milk, eggs, perishable foods, fruits, and medicine. Modern reefers now use refrigeration to achieve the same goals. This car's interior includes some crates and milk jugs as details.

30ft Flat Car & Gondola

Many railroads operated a type of flat car with mounting spots for stakes, gondola walls, and many other components. This piece of stock bundles all of them together into one allowing you to switch between the car types on the fly and giving you access to many load options including a few variants of UNU's Mastodon.

30ft Tank Car

This tank car is based on the 30ft flat car above. It holds fluids and has some animations

Maintenance Of Way

Rotary Snowplow

Rotary snowplows work by spinning a massive blade at their front to chop thick snow into bits and shoot them out the side. These machines were once used all over North America but now are rarely used. This particular model is inspired by D&RGW OY. This is Immersive Railroading's first Rotary and its head does rotate!

Cabeese

Waycar

This caboose is designed based on C&S waycars. They were incredibly tiny and later converted to have a cupola. Our version has both variants but scaled up to be more reasonable sized for Mr Steve and his chonk. Windows are openable and you can sit in the cupola!
