Trains Of Ruun

Trains Of Ruun

Trains Of Ruun is a pack all about North American style 3ft gauge. The pack is actually set in a fictional nation called Ruun.

Locomotives

0-4-0 "Steph"

Steph is the smallest locomotive currently in Trains of Ruun. She is based on Edaville #11. Her small size makes her perfect for work in small yards and logging railways!

2-4-2 "Nattie"

Nattie is a 2-4-2 tank locomotive based on Lyn of the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway. She was built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1898. Nattie is Lyn scaled up to 3ft gauge. Given she's based on Lyn you'd expect her to be small but her size is far more comparable with other 3ft gauge Baldwin 2-6-2 tank locomotives from the same era.

2-6-0 "Ingot"

Ingot is a fictional locomotive with heavy inspiration from the Class N from Steam & Steel on Roblox. Ingot is built on a modified version of Natties frame. With a blind middle driver Ingot can also take relatively tight turns for her overall size. Ingot makes the perfect fit for heavy industrial settings such as steel mills and machine shops.

2-8-0 "Adaylia"

Adaylia is a 2-8-0 based on D&RGW C16 locomotives with heavy inspiration from DL&G 191. 2-8-0s like this have blind middle drivers to allow for tighter turning. Adaylia has a fully detailed cab with functioning controls. Her tender has lanterns and a functional water level as well as a detailed wood load that reflects the current fuel in the tender.

Passenger

Overton Coaches

Trains of Ruun overtons feature functional seats, detailed interiors, opening windows and doors, and guard chains for between the cars. Coach and Business cars also allow the player to put observation decks and marker lanterns on their rear.

The specific overtons are:

Freight

30ft Boxcar

30ft boxcars like this were commonly found and used across almost all 3ft gauge railroads in North America. This boxcar comes with many texture variants and opening doors! The pack also includes a variant on the car that has two vagrants playing a game of cards and having a drink or two.

30ft Reefer

30ft reefers used ice blocks stored in compartments in the roof to cool their contents. They carried milk, eggs, perishable foods, fruits, and medicine. Modern reefers now use refrigeration to achieve the same goals. This car's interior includes some crates and milk jugs as details.

30ft Stockcar

30ft livestock cars like this one were used across many railroads of the era to haul farmers livestock to other farms, marketplaces, and slaughterhouses. Our model comes with an assortment of individually installable and texturable boards so you can represent just about any North American railroad!

30ft Flat Car & Gondola

Many railroads operated a type of flat car with mounting spots for stakes, gondola walls, and many other components. This piece of stock bundles all of them together into one allowing you to switch between the car types on the fly and giving you access to many load options including UNU's Mastodon.

Crate Flat Load

For representing other cargos the flatcar comes with a Crate load.

UNU Mastodon Flat Load

The flatcar can also haul an UNU Mastodon!

Tall Stake Flat Loads

The flatcar has many log loads to choose from

Dimensions: Overworld, Nether
Biomes: Dark Oak Forest x2, Extreme Hills, Forest, Taiga, Savanna
Woods: Oak, Birch, Spruce, Jungle, Dark Oak, Acacia, Crimson, Warped
Misc: Bone, Mushroom

Short & Tall Gondola Loads

There are also a wide array of loads for gondolas, tall and short!

Tall: Beetroot, Compost, Grain, Seed, Dirt, Gravel, Sand, Red Sand, Coal, Soul Sand
Short: Copper, Iron, Gold

30ft Tank Car

This tank car is based on the 30ft flat car above. It holds fluids for transport. Many 3ft gauge railroads owned, leased, or shipped tank cars similar to this one.

Maintenance Of Way

Rotary Snowplow

Rotary snowplows work by spinning a massive blade at their front to chop thick snow into bits and shoot them out the side. These machines were once used all over North America but now are rarely used. This particular model is inspired by D&RGW OY. This is Immersive Railroading's first Rotary and its head does rotate!

Cabeese

Waycar

This caboose is designed based on C&S waycars. They were incredibly tiny cars. Our version is scaled up to be more reasonable sized for Mr Steve and his chonk. Windows & doors are openable and the car also has many marker lamps!

Waycar With Cupola

Later in the C&S waycar's history they were modified to have a cupola. We have done the same! Windows on the cupola are openable just as with the other windows on the waycar. You can also sit in the cupola!
